Nintendo Australia will be holding the upcoming Wii Championships event this weekend at Federation Square in Melbourne.
The event takes place on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th of July, between 10am and 5pm.
Contestants will be able to register on the day and will be competing in Wii Sports tennis and bowling. Players will be able to go up against Channel Nine personalities Kelly Landry (Getaway), Shura Taft and Georgia Sinclair (KidsWB).
The winner on each day will receive a Wii with five Wii games and the first 500 entrants on each day will each receive Wii backpacks.
The Wii Championships event coincides with ACMI's Game On! exhibition, which is due to close on Sunday the 13th of July.
